Adler Planetarium & Astronomy Museum
Adler was opened in 1930, making it the first planterium in the western hemisphere. Adler has more than 35,000 square feet of exhibits, including scale models of the solar system, ancient astronomical instruments and interactive adventures.

The Field Museum
The Field Museum was founded to house the biological and anthropological collections assembled for the World's Columbian Exposition of 1893. The museum is located at Chicago's Museum Campus and is situated right next to the lake.
Harold Washington Library Center
The library is 756,640 square feet and opened in October of 1991. It appeared in the Guinness Book of Records for being the largest library building in the world.
The John Hancock Observatory & The Signature Room
The Hancock Observatory is located on the 94th floor of the John Hancock Building 1,000 feet above the Magnificent Mile. It is the city's only open-air skywalk. From the Observatory, you will see a 360-degree view of Chicago, Wisconsin, Michigan, Indiana and other parts of Illinois. After taking in the sights from the 94th floor, go up to the 95th floor to the Signature Room where you can enjoy Contemporary American fare, cocktails and full floor to ceiling windows so you can have dinner and enjoy the view!
Lincoln Park Zoo
Established in 1868, Lincoln Park Zoo is one of the oldest zoological gardens in the country and is among the most modern. The zoo stands as one of the last free major cultural institutions in the United States and the only one left in Chicago.
Magnificent Mile
The Magnificent Mile offers 3.1 million square feet of retail space, 460 stores, 275 restaurants, 51 hotels and 2 museums along Michigan Ave. The Mag Mile refers to Michigan Ave. from the Chicago River to Oak Street.
Millenium Park
Millennium Park is located in the heart of downtown Chicago. It is bordered by Michigan Avenue to the west, Columbus Drive to the east, Randolph Street to the North and Monroe Street to the South.
Navy Pier
Navy Pier has been a Chicago landmark since it first opened in 1916. It is located on Lake Michigan and has restaurants, shops, IMAX Theatre, Crystal Gardens, Chicago Shakesphere Theater, the 150-foot-high Ferris wheel, a musical carousel, an old-fashioned swing ride and an 18-hole miniature golf course. Navy Pier Park also has a 1,500-seat Skyline Stage, which features musical performances ranging from classical to pop, blues and jazz to eclectic, rock and reggae, as well as dance, theater, comedy and film.
The Sears Tower Skydeck
Enjoy beautiful views from the 103rd floor of the Sears Tower. It is Chicago's highest observatory! On clear days you can see up to 40-50 miles away!! The skydeck offers interactive tools to help you enjoy your experience more with kiosks, museum quality exhibits and a child level display for children. There are also plenty of restaurants to chose from in the Sears Tower.
Shedd Aquarium
Shedd Aquarium is the largest indoor aquarium in the world and its here in Chicago! It has more than 8000 aquatic animals and has great views of Lake Michigan.
